This blog was created to provide a platform for the voices of refugees in Greece. In response to the Three Days of Terror in Chios that occurred mid-November of 2016, our team formed to provide accurate information and bring the story to the world. This is our attempt to compile stories, statements, photos, and video from the lives of people in Greece’s refugee camps. We know the difficulty of reaching those who live in the camps, as well as the desire to have a coherent flow of information between the camps and the media. Any specific questions not addressed in the statements and media posted here can be addressed directly to our team through the “Contact Us” page.
We believe the world needs to hear these stories. These people have been silenced and we are providing them a way to make their voices heard. The situations in the camps are unjust, inhumane, and intolerable. We will not turn a blind eye to the suffering. By giving voice to the people who are forced to live there, we hope the rest of the world will stand with us and stand with refugees. Help us share these voices. Give these people life.
